I know that running, walking and volunteering to work the Casper Chase are potentially hazardous activities. I should not enter and run/walk this event unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete this event. I assume all risks associated with running/walking and volunteering to work this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat/or humidity, the conditions of the road and traffic on the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by name. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Casper Windy City Striders and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the parts of the person named in this waiver.

Participants of both events can pick up race bib numbers, t-shirts, and packets from 7 pm to 9 pm at City Park (Center & 7th) on Monday the 8th or from 6:30 am to 8:30 am on race day. Preregister to guarantee shirt and packet. Late entries will also be accepted during those times.
5K awards ceremony to follow the race at City Park (Center & 7th Streets). Male and female first, second, and third place awards will be given in each age category.
1K Kids Fun Run begins at 9:10 a.m. at City Park (Center & 7th Streets). This course will be on the sidewalk around the park.
5K Race begins at 9:20 a.m. at 7th and Center Streets.
