This 10K run/walk will be held at the new Boys and Girls Club facility, 1701 E. "K" Street. Registration will be at 8:00 a.m. with the race to start at 9:00 a.m. Winter Series prizes will be awarded following the race. Prizes will be awarded to the overall first male and first female, and to all runners who complete at least four Winter Series races.The Winter Series 10K will take place in conjunction with the Boys and Girls Club Fun Run. The Boys and Girls Club Fun Run will feature a 5K run/walk, a 1-mile run/walk, and a 1K run/walk.

Races will start across the street from the B&G club and go behind the baseball fields to the Parkway and then be out and back heading west on the Platte River Parkway.Race fees will be $15 with a shirt and $10 without. Start times to be 8:15 a.m. for 1K, 8:30 a.m. for 1 mile and 9:00 a.m. for the 5K.
Races starts at 8 a.m. with check-in beginning at 6:30 a.m. This race is a fundraiser, each year we will choose an organization and all proceeds will benefit them. This year we picked Friends of the Park. They are raising money to build an outdoor spray park with dreams of a spring 2006 ground breaking.The 5K leaves from City Park runners/walkers head West towards Sinks Canyon you head South on the Tomato Loop and circle East back to City Park. Supporters, friends and family can hang out in our City Park and sit in the shade or play. After the race we will have drinks and fruit and then the awards ceremony with 25 prizes to give away. 5th Annual Doggie Dash 5k run/walk & 4th Annual Zack Murphy 10k run/walk will be held June 18th in Douglas, WY. Event day registration only, starting at 8 a.m. at the Douglas National Guard Armory. Entry fee is $15, start time for both events is 9 a.m. at the Armory. Participates will receive a T-shirt and chances in Prize drawings.Both courses are briefly on public streets and then the scenic Platte River path. Proceeds will go to the Douglas Animal Shelter to care for homeless area animals.
Participates can run with their four leg training buddy. Local homeless dogs will be at the starting line looking for someone to take them on a 5k run/walk. The 5K road race begins at 9:20 a.m., with start/finish line at 7th & Center streets. The 1K Kids fun run begins at 9:10 a.m., at City Park (Center & 7th streets), with the course on the sidewalk around the park.
Participants of both events can pick up race bib numbers and packets from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at City Park (Center & 7th) on Monday the 11th or from 6:30 am to 8:30 am on race day. Preregister to guarantee your packet. Late entries will also be accepted during those times. In the 5K Race, male and female first, second, and third place awards will be given in each age category as well as overall male and female. Note: instead of t-shirts participants will receive a Casper Chase commemorative item.
Entry fees are $5 for the Kids Fun Run and $15 for the 5K before July 1st, $20 from July 1 - 11, and $25 on the 12th. The nonrefundable entry fee includes Casper Chase commemorative item, goody bag, and post-race snacks. Last year there were 125 runners for the 5K run. This 5K run and 2 mile walk, is a memorial event held to honor the memory of longtime Strider members Heather Kelly and Jim Borgerding. Start time is 8 a.m. Start/finish is located on the pathway adjacent to Crossroads Park (and Mike Lansing Field). The 5K course will be an out and back on the asphalt Platte River Parkway path with turnaround at the pedestrian bridge (near N. This event is to remember and honor the eight University of Wyoming Cross Country Runners killed by a drunk driver September 2001. Registration is at the Douglas National Guard Armory starting at 7 a.m. with both events will start at 8:30 am.
The $15 entry fee includes a T-shirt, chance for a drawing prizes, along with food and beverage at the finish. The proceeds help fund the Shane Shatto scholarship. A very challenging 10K course! Registration/start is at Rotary Park (Garden Creek Falls) and follows Casper Mountain Road, finishing at Beartrap Meadow. A couple of water stations will be provided along the course. Registration will start at 7:00 a.m. The run will start at 8:00 a.m.

Course: Starts at Rotary Park at an elevation of 6360 feet. The first 1/2 mile is downhill to Garden Creek Road, 6090 feet. From here you will climb 1,800 feet to the finish at Beartrap Meadow, 7890 feet.
This four mile run is around Three Crowns Golf Course, and 1K children's run. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., run starts at 9:00 a.m. at the new Oil and Gas Commission, located at 2211 King Blvd. Costumes optional and welcome! There will be a $5 fee for the kids' run. The first 24 children to register for the kids' run will receive a goody bag For the 4-mile run, registration will be $5 if you show up in costume, otherwise regular race fees will apply.
Start at 9:00 a.m. at Edness Kimball Wilkins Park. Admission: $5 or two cans of non-perishable food. All proceeds will be donated to the Salvation Army, Casper Corps. The run will feature the traditional post-race drawing for Thanksgiving-related door prizes, such as turkeys, pumpkin pies, and cranberry sauce.
