Winter Race Series consists of five events, starting with 2 miles and ending with a 10K. Races begin at 9 a.m., registration starts 8 a.m. Entry fee is $8 for Striders members, $10 for non-members, $6 for Students. Receive $5 discount if you sign up for all five runs.Long sleeved shirt will be awarded for completion of all five races (volunteering counts towards this). Shirt will be awarded for a cost of $10 to those completing four events. Runners missing a race can make up a run of equal or greater distance to qualify for the shirt at a cost of $10 per race. Awards for overall male and female winner and male and female master (40 years and older).

This monthly series will be run on the Platte River Parkway, at Bryan Stock Trail. A handicap will be calculated as average of last five races over two years. Monthly winner will be runner who beats their handicap time by the most and will be awarded a pint glass trophy. Entry fee is free for Striders members, $3 for non-members.

The Casper Chase will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2007 marking the start of the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo parade. The 5K road race begins at 9:20 a.m., with start/finish line at 7th & Center streets. The 1K Kids fun run begins at 9:10 a.m., at City Park (Center & 7th streets), with the course on the sidewalk around the park. The 5K walk begins at 8:50 and follows the dame course as the road race.
Participants of all events can pick up race bib numbers and packets from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at City Park (Center & 7th) on Monday the 9th or from 6:30 am to 8:30 am on race day. Pre-register to guarantee your packet. Late entries will also be accepted during those times. In the 5K Race, male and female first, second, and third place awards will be given in each age category as well as overall male and female.
Entry fees are $5 for the Kids Fun Run and $20 for the 5K before July 6th, and $25 after the 6th . The nonrefundable entry fee includes Casper Chase t-shirt, goody bag, and post-race snacks. Last year there were 125 runners for the 5K run. For the safety of all runners, baby strollers, roller blades/skates, headsets, and pets will not be allowed.

The race will cover approximately five miles of the Natrona County Nordic and single track trails starting and finishing at the Casper Mountain Nordic Lodge. The course will feature spectacular views, challenging climbs and wonderfully wicked, winding downhill sections.

This event is to remember and honor the eight University of Wyoming Cross Country Runners killed by a drunk driver September 16th 2001. Registration is at the Douglas National Guard Armory starting at 7:30 a.m. with both events starting at 8:30 am. Both the 5K run/walk and the 10K run start and finish at the Douglas National Guard Armory, registration Aug 12th only no pre-registration.
The $20 entry fee includes a T-shirt or work-bag, chance for drawing prizes, along with food and beverage at the finish. The proceeds help fund the Shane Shatto scholarship.
