Hello fellow runners,

My name is Mary and I am new to the Casper area. I am looking forward to joining the Striders and hopefully meeting some of you.

What I have recently comitted to train for, however, is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team In Training Fundraising event. This entails me training for and participating in marathon, half marathons, triathlons, and 100 mile bike rides. All funds raised are for the purpose of funding research for a cure for blood cancers (including Hodgekins and myeloma).

It is usually considered rude to ask money from strangers, but this is a very important and necessary request for help. The following is my direct website for any of you to look at, and if felt moved, to become my sponsor for the Nike Women's Marathon in San Fransico on Oct. 23, 2005.
