The annual meeting and election will be this Saturday, November 19, at 11:30 a.m. at Old Chicago Pizza, 3580 E. 2nd Street. Lunch will be provided.

The meeting agenda will include:

--Treasurers report

--Vote on whether to continue to provide Colorado Runner magazine to the membership. It costs the club 50 cents per member per issue. So it costs the club about $45 to $50 per issue. Colorado Runner is published 6 times per year, which would run about $300 per year. It may be necessary to increase membership dues to cover this cost.

If you cannot attend the meeting, please let me know by email whether you would like to continue to receive Colorado Runner, and if so, your feelings on increasing club dues.

-- Report on Winter Series election. As reported in my email to you earlier this week, a majority of those voting on this issue, chose to start the Winter Series in December.

-- Door prizes, including free 2006 club membership, free CWCS race entries for 2006 (does not include the Casper Marathon races or the Casper Chase), and holiday pies. YOU MUST ATTEND THE MEETING TO BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN!

-- Election of officers and board for 2006, and thank you to outgoing officers/board members.

If you are interested in running for the board or an officer position, let me know! We have some openings, and we are always looking for fresh faces!

Officers:
President (current occupant: me)
Vice President (currently: Doreen Ramirez; she will be resigning)
Treasurer (currently: Phil Brown)
Secretary/Public Relations (currently: Lee Wood)

Board positions:
Newsletter editor (currently: Dianna Steinberg)
Casper Chase representative (must be a member of the Casper Chase committee) (currently: Chris Corlis; he will be resigning)
Casper Marathon representative (must be a member of the Casper Marathon committee) (currently: Eric and Dawn Easton; they will continue on the board)
at large board members (currently: Lori Abrams; Barb Deininger).

-- Any other business to come before the Club.
