Yes, it is possible to train for a marathon if you are living in Jackson this winter. You just have to be patient, and dress for the weather. We have found that trail shoes help when running in snowy conditions. Make sure you let yourself acclimate to the altitude before getting too busy running. What marathon are you training for. We have a nice little marathon here in Casper. This year's run is scheduled for June 6.

: Hi, I'm thinking of moving to Jackson, WY for the ski season from Alabama. Is it possible to run and train for a marathon with all the snow there. Any replies would be greatly appreciated as well as any good recommendations on areas to run or races. Thanks
